Protest Surfschool se enorgullece de ser la primera escuela de surf en Europa en recibir la etiqueta verde de Cleanoceanproject! Cleanoceanproject es una ONG oficial con objetivos de preservar la naturaleza, haciendo limpiezas de playa en todo europa. Su base está en Fuerteventura y queremos hacer de nuestra isla tan bonita un ejemplo para todo el mundo! Para mas información visita www.cleanoceanproject.org!
Juntos estamos trabajando en un programa para sensibilizar a turistas y locales. Aquí están algunas de las cosas que hacemos como escuela, cualquier sugerencia será más que bienvenida en contact@protestsurfschool.com!

Clean Ocean Project
Junto a la rotonda del campo de fútbol podrás encontrarte con está tienda que desde hace organizando limpiezas de playa con voluntarios para adecentar el litoral y para concienciar a la gente de la importancia de no generar residuos que ensuncien nuestras playas. En esta tienda encontraras ropa con un mensaje de concienciación y también venden artesanías de materiales reciclados y cera ecológica para tu surf ecológico.
Paradise Surf Shop Corralejo
Corralejo. Two shops, the biggest one close to Hyperdino supermarket and the little one at the end of the mainstreet. Discount store that combines very low prices with an excellent service. New and second hand surfboards, rental service, clothing, gadgets… check it out!
Wilalegre
She’s doing hats, it makes her happy! Crochetted hats made by hand by a very sweet surfgirl. Different models and colors available, also for kids! Ask for them at the Protest Surfhouse or visit www.wilalegre.com. You’ll also find them on the weekly markets in Lajares and Corralejo.
Island Steps
En la calle principal nos encontramos con está bonita tienda, donde el servicio es de lo más agradable, y donde podrás encontrar una amplia gama de sandalias hechas a mano de la marca Island Steps.
Magma Surfshop
Situada en la rotonda al lado del supermercado Inpescasa nos encontramos con la tienda Magma, donde encontraras un amplia gama de productos de surf, wind y kite y que además es una de las mejores escuelas de Kite de la Isla; ofecen todo tipo de cursos de Kite incluso la posibilidad de navegar con un barco de seguridad y cascos de radio.
Witchcraft Windsurfing
Al lado del U-turn surf bar.
Conocido en el mundo entero para sus tablas de windsurf custom indestructibles.
Tambien venden velas de Ezzy y vienen de abrir un centro de alquilar.
North Shore
Situada en la rotonda al lado del campo de futbol encontrarás una de las tiendas con más renombre de la Isla. Los propietarios de este negocio son la familia Honscheid, muy conocidos en el mundo del surf y del windsurf y en su tienda ofrecen todo tipo de material de surf y windsurf.
Wenzel Surfboards
Opposite the Protest Surfhouse! Buying a board is always something special. Wenzel shapes his boards with his soul and this you’ll feel while surfing. Don’t hesitate to come and have a look in his workshop, he ‘ll love to explain you how his boards are made. Make your own design or choose one a la carte.
Wenzel Surfboards also repairs your board and has a little shop next to the shaperooms.
Pastelo
On the mainstreet. Breakfast, pastry and yummie sandwiches on a big terras with a very friendly service. Serves the best coffee in town.

Mana Café
On the mainstreet. A real French pancake house in Fuerteventura. Salted or sweet pancakes and a wide choice of fillings. Also very nice hamburgers and sandwiches.

Bar los Piratas
On the mainstreet. The place to be for typical Canarian food such as Tapas or Paella. At noon they serve good and cheap meals that will fill your belly all day long. Los Piratas is the oldest bar in town, where local Majoreros and tourists meet to watch football and enjoy a little beer or rum…

Behind the village square.
Real Italian pizzas in a nice setting.

Canela Café
On the mainstreet.
Cosy restaurant with good food.

On the road to Corralajo close to the Protest Surfhouse. Hamburgers, burritos and other nice food.

U-turn Surfbar
On the road to Corralejo close to the Protest Surfhouse. The one and only surf bar in Lajares. Each night surfers gather here to tell each other about their sessions. On weekends it’s party time with often live local bands or a DJ. There’s also a computer to check your internet free of charge (max 10 min).
Canela Café
In the center of town on the mainstreet.

Often live music or DJ on saturday nights.

Corralejo Party Town
In Corralejo there’s party every night! Ask in the Surfhouse for more info. Corralejo is about 12 km from Lajares.
Taxi costs 12 euro in daytime and 18 euro in the night, and fits up to 5 people.
